Finally decided to watch this vid, and this is actually cool what you're doing! I used to believe that the anger towards AI "art" was unnecessarily rude and that "some people just couldn't find the confidence to draw traditionally/digitally"! It took me a few months to switch up my attitude and realize just how harmful AI was to real artists (and that even if you lack confidence to draw, that doesn't mean it's wrong to try practicing and learning so you can do it independently!) I agree that real artists drawing inspiration from other artists isn't the same as an AI training itself through looking at real artists' art. I think one of the big differences is that a real artist would at least try to deviate from the original material they learned from in order to make it something new, out of respect - they also add their own things a lot of the time! However, when an AI does it, it's not thinking about doing it differently or making something new, it's thinking about just making it look like what it was fed
