I find myself in the same realm of thinking, AI (even opus) is useful to make small scoped changes with a pre-defined structure/architecture made by you. give it a more global task and the code wont be maintainable in 2 days time, even with a full detailed step by step plan to execute, it needs someone to guide it which has good software experience and even that is painfull. a manager using it without context being able to archive anything remotely significant is a pure lie, the economy is gonna break from all the undelivered promises, it could have been sold for what it is, its pretty decent, but i sure dont need it on my toaster and not on the other 99.9% features they want to deliver
