As someone who's a writer as a hobby, and I'm sure I speak for a lot of other writers, the whole thing of "You just get the product instantly if you AI generate a thing!" Is so empty to me, because the final product of writing ISN'T why I write, I love the PROCESS of creating, and the end product is something that after a dozen revisions and reworks, I almost always come out proud to show my friends BECAUSE I spent a month and dozens of hours working on it. A lot of what I think these AI obsessed people don't get is that "art" isn't just the final product, it's the entire process and the act of creating. It's about getting the end point for them so they can sell it, or say "here it is!", and they'll never, or at the very least, rarely understand that for a lot of artists of all kinds "skip the actual drawin/writing/etc" is one of the PROBLEMS we have with AI to begin with.
