This is incredibly foolish and naive. Rich people will benefit most from this technology, as with many, many technologies in the past. They will use it to differentiate themselves from others, as they do with so much else.
At best, if could be a net positive ONCE population shrinks considerably but, until then, it there will just be a starker, sadder contrast—just as there is already.
