If we were anywhere near creating a superintelligence I would pay more attention to the AI doomsayers. As it is, it’s not even on the horizon. It doesn’t take long to get to a point where all the existing AIs are just stupid and clearly non-sentient, and without sentience there’s no danger beyond what a human uses an AI to do.
