10:18 slamming on brakes occasionally doesn't look right at all. Could be the evening light interfering with optics and making it look like something jumped in front of the car, but this is another example of the limitation of optics only technology at this time. Optics technology is just not there yet and so these things will continue to happen. Predicting the future is great. But if you are predicting the future 15-20 years too early, you're doing it wrong. Waymo's lidar seems like the winner to me.
