it's definitely a people problem and not an AI problem. He didn't actually listen to it or anyone, he just grasped at anything that said what he wanted to hear and ignored any warning around it. As you stated the Ai said that this was only applicable for cleaning.
Doesn't matter if he got this info from AI or after digging through reports and forums 2 days later the results would have been the same. As much as i dislike people's AI reliance it didn't matter here
