Generative AI will not replace traditional artists as long as traditional artists embrace technology and the evolution of art. I feel that traditional artists that embrace technology can use AI to assist in expanding their creativity. AI can assist in getting their artistic concepts out to the masses quicker. AI alone does not create an image, video or any art piece without some form of input from a human. Simple AI selections of added colours for a painting or adjusting the colour of a photo quickly instead of manually adjusting via a painting program. Lastly a well established artist can use AI to help create art in their own style to assist in new ideas to create. AI can be a great assistant that allows established artist to create more in less time or expand their creativity. We all need inspiration or a source as a start point for any artistic creation. AI can be that source that provides the initial inspiration for the artist without the added time, travel or expense.
