I was a mechanic but kept losing my job. They told me to get my business degree. Couldn't get a job for a long time and kept losing it from downsizing so I got my MBA. It didn't help at all. So I decided to get my engineering degree. I busted my ASS getting my EECE degree. I built systems like this. It paid well but even it wasn't secure. I had to move my family several times. No one cried for me when I was out of a job and no one whined about how we were going to save the jobs of the hardworking engineer who sacrificed to get his degree. No one stood up for the ENGINEERING PROFESSOR who had to get a job driving a truck to feed his family. In the end, there will always eventually be a job for the engineer because human innovation can't be replaced. AI will help engineers work faster. Resisting this technology is like resisting the railroad when it put wagon drivers out of work. You have to follow the cheese. Read Who Moved My Cheese.
