There is no way the U.S. will ever offer UBI. Americans hate each other too much. They'll just let the overwhelming majority of the population die from starvation, disease, violence, etc.
Of course, this begs the question: Why not replace all 3 branches of government with AI? Politician is one of the most unskilled and overpaid jobs on Earth.
