As far as I know, "AI" is not a brand or trade mark so it should hold up to the same standards as any other descriptive language. If I say that I sell artificial intelligence but I actually sell a sorting algorithm I should technically be able to be sued for fraud. "Intelligence" has a definition and it includes the ability to discern and discriminate which people who sell "AI" know is not what "AI" does. There must be some point where this fraudulent industry will face legal consequences?
