trucks can't drive 24 hrs a day. They have to be refueled . Won't happen Too many variables. If its that easy why do rail roads have engineers. Trains would be easier to be automated. What happens when trucks break down. Just sit there. other drivers would tear it apart. Also the first time a truck runs over a car full of kids all hell is going to break loose by the public against self driving trucks. Road conditions change all the time. Computer can't adapt to change. Lose cell phone coverage lately. Well the computer driving the 80 thousand lb truck going 70 miles an hour just lose coverage. Watch out run away truck.
