Obviously some kinks need ironing but here’s my thoughts on it, there are people that can’t drive, for one reason or another, maybe their to old or have a certain disability, I for one have minor eye issues and this was something I had to put up with until I was 20. lol do you know how embarrassing it is to watch your friends drive away at 16 and 17 while you need to hitch a ride or just stand there to go home from school?😂 I can tell you it sucks, I know alot of people are like well just use Uber or call a cab, or take the bus, I don’t know the circumstances for other places but I live in a small town in North Mississippi, we don’t really have that here. So I for one think it’s a good thing that companies like Waymo and Tesla are pushing this, I get that a lot of older people hate it because they feel like their not in control and that’s why I like Tesla’s approach a bit more, it’s basically optional and if you wanna drive just tap a button. The reason I’m such an advocate for it is because for a lot of people something like driving is taken for granted because so many do it, but there are just is many that can’t or are and shouldn’t be driving and when you go through your entire teen years without being able to drive you lose A LOT of freedom, I mean who wants their mom or one of their friends driving them literally everywhere. Y’all know the circumstances I’m talking about you were all in your teens once😂, imagine having to call your buddy to drop you off at some chics house or to drop you off for a date I mean cmon y’all can’t say that wouldn’t embarrass you atleast a bit😂
