People need to learn more, before sharing their versions of "facts". Also, many people have very low intelligence and low levels of sentience. When these people interact with advanced AI, they will see a more narrow gap between themselves and the AI.
This may sound a bit harsh, but I believe the time for treading lightly, has passed. Reality has arrived and it has a big club.
A good place for these people to start, is to research the term "Chinese Room".
