AI should be allowed to scrape the web for artwork and learn how to reproduce art in certain artists styles. Its no different from me learning how to draw in the style of an artist I enjoy and creating my own unique work based in their style. The only real difference is the speed at which the AI can do it compared to a human. If you continue down this train of thought or path, you are approaching a questionable and dangerous future where someone's art style can be copyright. Major media companies would love this. It would give them wide-reaching rights to remove anything that resembles a style of an artist they employ.
