If AI replaces a massive number of workers and there's no jobs, then who buys new tvs, houses, furniture, etc.? If this really were to happen, many businesses were fail and the government tax pool would shrink dramatically due to dramatically less payroll tax, real estate tax, sales tax.
Many jobs will be replaced but there will be new jobs created. They just don't exist yet.
