We never learn do we... apprentice sorcerers blindly manipulating the elements in the holy name of science, endlessly creating new technologies that end up controlling our lives. Nobody needs this. Nobody really wants this. But there's money involved, there's power involved, so the wheel turns on and keeps crushing us. So maybe AI is right, the place would be better without us after all.
