Also AI is the same way with being unpredictable which is why even before finding out how bad it was I didn’t use it, with drawing and creating things myself I can be more hands on. Draw exactly what I want how I wanted it, it may not look how it looked in my head but I got close and that’s because I have so much control over what I was making by hand. With AI it’s way more unpredictable, you write a prompt and hope it comes out right and if it doesn’t you have to re type or add onto the prompt but suddenly it looks like a different character even though you just wanted one part changed, and if your trying to generate that same character in a different pose it might just come out as a completely different character Again. If I draw an OC and want to draw them again and again in different poses I just look up a pose reference and draw the character how I want them to look and it will looks like the same character because I have more control over it. Can you believe art used to be a status symbol, that having something made by another human was a big show of wealth and culture. I like knowing that what I’m buying was made by a humans and that in finding their craft so that they continue. Even if I was an advertising company I would like real peoples art because that is better quality, I wouldn’t want someone to look at my ad and be put off by it like what AI does to so many people. People already click past Ads all day I would want my advertisement to be creative and grab peoples attention even if it’s for a moment or even make them feel good about the ad they’ve watched so that they keep thinking about it later and might buy the product.
