I feel gross having used Midjourney a few times, but I had no idea at the time that they were using stolen images. It’s an image shredder that uses the image artifacts to collage original images. It being incapable of originally producing images makes it NOT an AI, on top of the lack of awareness required to call it an intelligence. It’s just a program.
