I do ask: why not use AI to solve the problems, including the risk of extinction?
Also, can't you program in rules that protect humanity & life on earth? Like Isaac Asiamov's robot rules?
Lastly, I could write pages of what humanity could be like if given the freedom to live in true abundance. Humanity 's worth should not be defined by our economic worth. There are other ways we can create & be of service without being narcissistic.
