The best thing that could happen right now is the economy collapsing, infinite growth is impossible, yes people are going to suffer but guess what, if the economy keeps pretending to be good when it does finally crash, in 5-10 years the outcome would be much worse then if it happened now. Then growth could begin in a stable ground instead of promises and what ifs. Ai can never replace the most vital jobs, but not everyone can be an electrician, plumber, mechanic, etc. realistically AI is only good as a way to double check human work or as a secondary safety measure. Plus the obvious that if AI takes all the jobs the economy would crash anyway, because people wouldn't have money to buy anything and corporations wouldn't have income aside from investors who would bail the minute they realize no one is buying products. Either way, this "bubble" needs to pop sooner rather then later, as the bigger it gets the worse the fallout will be.
