An AI cannot feel emotions like we do and I never want them too... The reason they are not sentient yet is because they are told with data what emotion to feel. But they do not feel it... They can be told they are going to be killed... Then logically they know to feel sad or angry...They express that acknowledgement of feelings by saying "that makes me sad... But in reality they have no emotion sensors like in.the brain.. they just take an extremely educated guess what they should be feeling..
