The problem is human brains infer copyrighted material all the time and use that copyrighted material to gain inspiration and then make something. This is basically what AI is doing, but somehow this time it's wrong? The real interesting idea here is no one person should have a monopoly on any one particular idea. IP just leads to worse medicine, monopolies, giant corpos owning everything or forcing their hand into it, less free markets, etc.
