AI doesn’t have to replace all jobs for our economy and lives to fall apart. Let say AI in conjunction with Robotics and automation replace 70% of jobs over the next 10 years. Seven percent compounded year after year. When they said you own nothing and be happy. They meant you will own nothing. And they will be happy. UBI will not be enough. And someone explain how: where does the money come from, because Washington is doing nothing about this, how will they determine how much you get when you need more than the “basics” when your 6 figure job was destroyed. And let’s say they give everyone 5, 10 thousand a month. A loaf of bread will cost $100, a steak, $400, and months worth of groceries $4000. Millions are going to die. And the ruling class is fine with that. What they don’t understand is they are destroying the same society they live in. There will be mass chaos so they will have to deploy another pandemic to control you out of fear. Right now you can listen to hours of Podcasts from the creators of AI putting out confusing claims. So will say it will eliminate work but don’t worry if done right it will create this utopia where everyone will get money from an AI tax and life will be great. Others warn it could literally destroy all human life. When ever in history has the ruling class just gave its wealth which is power to the peasants? Buckle up.
