AI is a statistical machine learning model that got a lot of text to train on, have a lot of compute power to respond quickly, and returns the text you want based on text he learned. So, calm down.
No brain sitting in a server and waiting to go free. It's just a model of input and output like any program.
Does it help to code and do other stuff more quickly? yes. It's a new google search but better.
Some jobs will be lost, and some new jobs will be created. Some people will abuse it for bad purposes, like theft, but not the AI itself.
It won't destroy humanity, just some low-level jobs that will change to something else.
