AI takes jobs away > unemployment rises = less income from taxes for the government > Congress is forced to create more social programs and raise taxes on companies that use AI to offset the new struggles = companies don’t gain anything by overusing AI since there will be taxes.
GOP will be upset because they are forced to do this as it’s the only way they will be re-elected and it upsets the companies that gave them money.
The shortsightedness of companies is why governments shouldn’t operate like a company.
