I love him so much! Gabor Maté is a retired physician who, after 20 years of family practice and palliative care experience, worked for more than a decade in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side with patients challenged by drug addiction and mental illness. He is the founder of Compassionate Inquiry, has ADHD himself and is an expert. While an expert this is a video short, not applicable to all situations so no defensiveness because he is not putting guilt on anyone in this 5 second video. Read his books and take the valuable, insightful and extremely pertinent information. He has written five books exploring topics that include ADHD, stress, developmental psychology, and addiction. You will gain so much insight…definitely not a one size fits all but explains so much to help oneself heal.
The Myth of Normal is a must read …but someone will probably be mad and think I am pushing something in someone so I will say highly recommend. ❤
