AI is a tool, that's true. A tool that replaces an artist. It does not turn you into an artist. You're a client and replaced the artist you would usually have to commission you request... sorry, your "prompt" to. Prompting is no different than asking a real artist to create something for you. You describe an image, someone else makes it. So no matter where you stand on this debate, the obvious fact is this: you are not an artist. You are a client. And in my opinion your chosen professional is a thieving scam.
