Basically it's history repeating itself. AI is a technology that was implemented far too early in its stage and because of that, we are seeing huge backlash. Much like the Dot Com bubble fiasco and the early CGI in TV/Film. Give it another decade or so and it'll be part of our entertainment which we will not be able to live without.
