Let's say you're a real artist who paints. You train the AI on your own style and then use that model to create new art. Is that using AI like it's a new tool or is the real artist no longer an artist? It's a fine line and whether people like it or not, prompt engineering is going to be a thing and it's not as easy as you may think. Combine this with loras and control nets and it gets even more complicated (or easier). There is an art to making AI "art" look good and it's the same thing that happened with photography and photoshop. There are ethical questions about the source material used to train the models and I think that's where energy should be focused... not the fact that a new tool is used to create something new.
