I like Neil deGrasse Tyson, but you can tell he hasn’t spent a lot of time researching AI. And that’s ok. It’s obviously not very interesting to him and so I’m sure he spends his time reading up on other stuff like cosmology and physics, but I just wish he wouldn’t speak so forcefully about something he doesn’t know much about.
