I completely agree. The gap is growing, especially between the mono-model chatbot user and the multi-modal, multi-model ‘AI Native’. Something clicked for me awhile ago, where I started integrated GenAI into many of my daily activities. I’m still blown away with how much my productivity has improved.
We still have work to do to make AI safe in our lives. By this I mean ensuring that there is strong governance regarding data usage/leakage, monitoring of downstream effects like drift etc.
The future is exciting, but the gap is growing, and we need to figure out how to help people that are falling behind.
