That Miyazaki clip will never falter when it come to "AI" arts.
He made a point how the difference in how a human and machine interprets life. Only humans can imitate life, whereas machines care unaware when it adds any unrealistic aspect that ignores such fundamentals. Like, the sample gifs were key to pointing this out despite how it was an attempt to sell him on its potential;
What human would make a zombie walk with only a foot or head, as those gifs had, without trying to factor in how it's too unrealistic re: gravity, re: biology, re: functional? We cannot, 'cause we cannot wholly disengage our real-world integration to think so out-the-box. We can't even create aliens that aren't humanoid by 1+ regards, and even humanoid fantasy creatures are just prettier or shorter humans lol
