Sorry to say but the arguments presented on the platform will not hold. Not just because it is unethical for AI firms to scrap data also because : 1. We were completely okay when people started posting videos and other contents on platforms like youtube for free. Decentralizing all the information which was previously paid for and there was an ecosystem that thrived over it. People used to earn from sharing this knowledge. Now they are gone. 2. We are completely okay with using sophesticated systems and mechanisms in place that replaces hundreds and thousands of jobs yearly. Be it accounting or logestics or any process oriented work. All in the name of improving effeciency. When we are okay with these things ruining our neighborhoods and ripping of jobs and work from people. I don't know why crying now over now that systems have finally come to your door ? The same argument that were given to those people can be given to you and let's see how that sounds : "Upskill yourself to remain in competition !" Understand one thing everything in the world is science.. even we humans think and work based on fundamentals of physics. Everything can be copied. He is complaining about AI ripping works of artists.. There will soon be models that will grow and learn like a child and people will ask for their rights in near future. Just wait and watch.
