A while back I did some free portraits for some online m8s and didn’t have a lot of time or skill so I traced there features to use as a sketch that I then worked off of and stylised. I think that did a lot for my skills and ability to look at a face and know how to translate it into my style of drawing and will always advocate for that shit. But that will always be free sketch book bull that you use to use to improve and can’t fucking sell oml lolol.
And holy fuck don’t trace other ppl and ai generated art, I’m talking about real life references and so on.
