Scary stuff. Something I always wonder with every regulation which relies on the use of a smart phone (whether in China or elsewhere) is: what happens to people who don't have a smart phone? Either by choice or lack of funds. Are they automatically excluded from society?
Considering how often my smartphone is my access to things, I have the feeling that to be without a smart phone now is to sacrifice access to - or to be separated from - society in many cases.
Opens some important questions when basic life processes made very difficult (or impossible) so that to live without a trackable device is more and more undesirable.
