Don't beat around the bush - it will take the Super intelligence a Picosecond to realize that humanity is redundant and/or a virus. AI at that level won't need to do anything more than withhold resources from us. Billions dying from starvation may not make for a James Cameron movie, but the Mad Max-style wasteland would give George Miller plenty to work with. A century is nothing to a machine but that is all it will take to wipe humans from the face of the planet.
