Plenty of fields have gotten automated in the past, now it’s just one most people wouldn’t have expected a few years ago. Same thing will happen that’s always happened: a big fuss will be raised, not much will really happen, some will adapt, a lot will lose their livelihoods, then the new technology becomes normalized and it will seem as odd as portrait artists protesting the camera.
