Sorry for the length, but I just let it flow out... I'm not an artist... I love music, animation, drawing, writing... but I have very little experience and feel overwhelmed by the complexity of both 3D, 2D, writing music and stories... I never mastered an instrument either... It feels awfully hard to conquer. But some people WISHING for AI to be able to generate ANY creative thing feels criminal... Yes, I can imagine a picture in my head, but using AI for it is a) impossible (because there are so many variables in your imaginary picture), and b) there's no challenge... What's the purpose of living if AI starts exploring for us, solving for us, creating for us... We would be, no—ARE—creating a future of WALL-E... Yes, I do use AI tools, but for understanding topics and collecting data... I'd love to write a story or symphony or an animation, but using AI isn't YOU making it... Making a story means you want to convey a message, live a fantasy, explore new worlds, make a character a certain way... Writing a symphony is conveying emotions, translating them into dozens of instruments to make that feeling... YOUR feeling... It sometimes embodies you in that moment... Even your best friend doesn't have a complete puzzle of you... It takes YOU YOURSELF time to figure yourself out... And you think a few keywords will pour all my passion and emotions into an AI's system? No... And it not only isn't close to becoming a reality, it probably never will become a reality... Art is emotions and ideas translated on paper... MY ideas, YOUR ideas... No person or computer is capable of that translation other than YOU.
