At last, someone in the media has at last recognized what I have feared for years, where humanity is concerned. Humanity's extinction within a decade is of course an exaggeration, unless it is due to nuclear warfare. But in 50 years? Yes, I think it is a distinct possibility that AI will be the ending of humanity. Besides, by then the heating up of the World will have made it difficult or impossible for humans to live in huge parts of it.
