Product cost may go down because it can more easily be automated for a lower cost than a human worker but that also means our time will be less valued since it is easier to replace.
In my opinion there is no way we can work less for more because even if you get a job that no robots can do, you won't be the only one trying to get that job since anyone having similar skills to a robot will be close to worthless so there will be a lot of competition to get a job and competition drive prices down (here the price we are competing for is salary)
