Hey man, I agree that a lot of folks are losing their jobs due to AI and it’s tragic, but your first example is terrible. Someone making 250k as a Software Sales Manager… I’m sorry but that amount of money is pretty sketchy. She could be lying to make herself look important, but if they were really paying her that much I can she why she needed to go. That job is not valued that high, even before AI. Honestly, AI probably finally gave them the excuse to remove her. Like a doctor waiting to remove a tumor because he has to wait to get the green light from insurance. In general though, income values need to be restructured across the board. The extremes need to be lowered and lower class jobs need to be boosted.
