I totally do agree with the points being made, but one thing I have to point out is that I've heard evidence of Universe 25 being a poorly constructed experiment. I don't remember the details, but most of these "experiments" (and yes there were multiple afaik) were basically animal torture. A bizarre topic to read on.
Despite it, I still believe that the so called "Jobless Utopia" AI bros religiously believe in would be torturous. Expressing ourselves, working towards something is one of the most basic needs for our human body. We evolved to solve problems, to communicate through both language and art, to get rid of it would be like malnourishing ourselves. Right now, as we speak, we are having a loneliness epidemic, mental issues are skyrocketing and no one knows how to deal with it. In that chase of statistics and convenience we forgot that we are bags of flesh and bones, imperfect and so fragile.
