This is an old story. In the late 50s and early 60s, companies were replacing hundreds of employees with one machine. And every so often since then, a new technology would come along to replace employees with machines. Automobile assembly lines became totally automated with robotic machines doing all of the work. The complaints about automation replacing employees we are hearing today are the same we've heard over the last 70 years.
