I think the recent rise of AI has brought up a more important question... Are we any different?
The question comes up a lot, but I do think most people like to conveniently ignore it or be in denial of that possibility. A lot of people argue "it just does this or that" not realizing the bigger question: What makes you think we don't basically do the same? What makes *_you_* think *_you're_* special?
Obviously, I think AI in its current form is far from becoming "human," but better to tackle these questions ahead of time. I think it's interesting insight into our own psychology as well.
