The only way we humans can compete with AI is by merging with it (which we already kind of do with our phones btw)
No amount of laws can impede the trajectory of progress, it can only burden those societies which do it and make them less competitive.
So the future would be "interesting" , but not in the most calm way lol
One positive byproduct would be that we could start to conquer space with AI.
