If you want to ban AI you must ban inspiration. If you are allowed to be inspired by someone and create something similar why can't AI do the same thing? Because it isn't human? That argument doesn't hold up. If a tool allows you to accomplish a goal then the person performing the task is human using a tool. If a tool allows you to be inspired by something more closely how is that any different than copying someone else's work in a similar style? Unless it is a direct copy of the work using someone else's artwork for training data is the same as someone seeing it with their eyeballs and then trying to paint something similar. None of these arguments hold up in court nor morally. If you want to avoid being copied by AI make something truly unique. AI cannot generate something original or truly unique. It only can go off of what is already there. AI will never replicate the original types of guitar solos that I do. The only people who are upset about this are people who make generic art that can be easily replicated. Try using the stable diffusion model yourself, it can't do everything.
