If you use a machine to solve a math equation, it doesn't make you a mathematician. Ask any of these AI artists what their "process" was. Why is that line thicker than this one? Why did you use this color palette? One of the things that makes art "art" is that there's a conversation to be had about a said piece BECAUSE it was made by someone else, and this "someone else" could walk you through their process.
There was a time where the internet wasn't riddled with AI generated slop, those were the days.
