If the cost of producing products and services is a fraction of the cost by using AI instead of employing humans. If everyone received a regular allotment of "credits" to pay for things. If prices/costs were regulated. Would the concept of inflation still exist? Would the value of commodities still increase? Would the concept of scarcity cease to exist? It will be interesting to see how this plays out. What I expect to happen is that exploitation will continue as usual for a while, but eventually AI could bring about abundance for everyone. Money equals control and power. Would a new power structure exist in the future or would it still be money?
