In some instances, driver turnover has reached up to 300% annually. Even in the decades long near 100% average, it's not every unique driver turning over. It's often half or a quarter of the workforce turning over 2x or 4x the rate, such that 1 truck, could seat 4 different drivers in the same year. This of course has knock-on effects related to a company's risk profile. But, it's all old news, and AI and automation is here to make everything better, probably.
